Cloth Cotton usually is around 40 percent with Fleece actually increasing the odds as it creates larger water droplets, so those are completely fucking bad.

Next people have to know how to know how to wear a mask and most simply do not even know to pinch the fucking metal tab above the nose, the tighter the fit of the mask the better it works. If the air goes out through the nose or out the sides then the virus is escaping.

If you are wearing even the best for Viral Protection the N95 you will be forcing more air out and trust me, having worn one a ton in construction, the air will go out the side thus reducing its effectiveness.

SO yea, Churches are a terrible place to be right now.

Are Landlords Wealthy and are Rentals a Good Investment?

 There is a Myth that Landlords are Wealthy, I am sure that some indeed, may be, I am not.

The Typical American is Mathematical Illiterate which is where I think this comes from along with piss poor business school teachers who's investment experience comes from watching MarketWatch, so lets do a quick breakdown.

Lets say you have the money to purchase a home for the astronomically low price of 149k and can afford to put the 20 percent down which is 29,800. IF you get a 30 year fixed rate at 2.75 percent with your typical taxes and insurance your payment will be 712 per month. I also should include your typical closing costs are 4 percent so your total down needed would be 35760 at closing.

Now lets say you it is a two bedroom house and you are pulling in 900 per month that leaves you a 188 per month to supposedly pocket bringing your total profits for the year to 2256. So Ten Rentals nets you 22560 per year. Provided you put the same down on each house you would have invested 290800 in down payments alone. That belies the fact that for each house if you were to pay for 30 years (Idiot if anyone does) you would pay 256320 for that house.

Now if you are lucky enough to keep those renters in for longer than the Six month lease., your profits go up, however every time someone moves out you are looking at some sort of maintenance and hopefully at the worst you will use their deposit and at other times if they go beyond their deposit then you will lose that extra money as they simply will not pay, so out of your pocket.

Now mind you, property does equate leverage however it also more often than not means debt,

So take that money, invest in a college education and stop your bitching about the abysmal "50k debt" you spent to make 50k Plus each year off that education.

Wish I had, I would be way better off in that regard, however I purchased Rentals as a means for retirement as I have noticed most people will lose their pensions and 401k is not retirement. So while I have managed to dedicate myself and push to do better than most, I am by no means wealthy. To make matters worse, the Right Whale, the largest mammal on the planet will go extinct in roughly 30 years simply do to their inability to birth at a rate faster than ships are mauling them. Apparently the solution is fairly simple, when ships travel slower and with caution, the Whales are able to avoid the ships, however with no international speed limit, well they get steam rolled for Our purported greed for expedited merchandise  at a cheap price. 

I dono, for me this is just unacceptable, but I get it, humans hate to be inconvenienced and to quote my mother on building her home in deer habitat "They can just go somewhere else" like the good buddhist she was.  Nevertheless her rings word true to humanity, at least western cultures where we prize comfort over all else. 

It absolutely amazes me that there is not a headline on the news on every single channel that we are going extinct, however, it is largely tucked away on science sites as News channels overwhelmingly are only concerned with the stock market. I suppose that makes sense, with mainstream journalists making millions of dollars a year, they can afford to dig themselves out of most messes. No longer having a functioning ecosystem will impact them, but not in the ways of the common man, eventually, it likely will catch up to them, which is the point here, this cannot go on. 

Scientists state that one Mammal should go extinct roughly every 700 years, except now it is 1000 times past that. 
Amphibians should go extinct at one per thousand years, times that by 45k now. 
Here is the really scary thing, Frogs color alone can tell you how healthy an ecosystem is, since we have frogs dying off in entire ecosystems, that clearly is not good. 

8 Million birds are killed from the pollution from just coal each year, that number is dwarfed by the estimated 3 billion birds killed each year by cats!

Yea, my jaw hit the floor on that one as well. 

I had no Idea and I remember watching a cat I had hang out at the bird bath in the neighbors yard, leaving a pile of feathers at least once daily to my elderly couples horror. 

Now before you decide to eliminate Tom from the equation (Reference to the cat on Tom and Jerry, hello!) just keep in mind that at least with cats, we can mitigate this damage. Turns out all we have to do is put more effort into spay and neutering as the bulk are ferrel and keep our cats either indoors or in a cat run outside. Mind you farmers surely won't care as they need to get rid of the mice invaders from Europe still, however it will make a HUGE impact in that regard at least. 

Climate change overall is the largest deciding factor in our planets viability for life, at least as we know it. The climate effects how animals live and some like most fish are temperature sensitive, as their water heats up they move into colder waters, until of course that water is too warm and they just go belly up. We can more easily understand this if you have ever kept tropical fish at a tank at home, if it gets to warm, too much nitrates or of course the PH is wrong, the fish go belly up. 

We have managed to change the planet so much that killer whales are now seen in the arctic, a place previously thought unimaginable for them, however as water warms and stress competing with humans for food this is the end result and probably all our last stand. 

Perhaps it is simply our education system exasperating this powered by capitalisms push to purchase products. That of course does not excuse or heritage where as migrating humans slaughtered easy mega fauna in America into complete extinction. Man would eat to extinction the well known wooly Mammoth, Giant Beaver and even the Giant Sloth, you know the one, the Sloths which were as big as modern bears here in North America!

Well no you probably do not unless you visited a museum someplace, things like that are simply lore in childrens tales. Ok well probably not since Giant Sloths do not exactly invoke fear or wonder in any persons imagination save mine. I think we need a horror movie where tripping blonde women are crushed by Giant, predatory Sloths.

Anyhow people, overall the planet is not doing well and you and I overall are to blame. The solution is of course be more environmentally aware policies across the board, sustainable energy, less encorachment onto lands creatures need to survive and the world coming together to work for a better tomorrow.

Could Fox news be the most dangerous "News" network in America ?

It's been over a decade since I finally turned off Fox news and I can only say it is one of the best things I ever did in my life; it was a part accident and part intentional that I would never tune turn off Fox ten years ago and never tune into that network again.

It started out with being troubled by Fox's own label of "The Media' That never seemed to include itself, and I would ask myself and others that questions, "Isn't Fox news part of "The Media?" other watchers seemed to have that same query.
It would take years of being on the losing end of arguments, especially Scientific ones where virtually anything from Fox was simply wrong. 

Fox had me believing Climate change was a Hoax and via one of their many bullshit documentaries, that we did not land on the moon. Two things that I am incredibly embarrassed to say I ever fell for. It took time and the incredible patience of people I was debating with, both friends and those I did not know, to turn me around. It also took me up my reading game again, something which was grossly lacking during my brief immersion into "Right Wing News" and it showed.

You see, this is the Danger of Fox, and any propaganda source, they take things you have heard, think you are familiar with and slowly manipulate what you know. Soon reality can be altered and you believe things that simply are not true. By slowly saying "no, that purse she carried was not pink, it was red" eventually they will believe that purse being carried, was indeed red, the same with other events n your life.

Fox has twisted everything we know, all reality we think by doing just that, telling you reality is not what it seems.
It is somewhat open with this saying it promotes "Alternative news" and if you do not stop and think about it, if you are older, from generations where we believed what the news had to say, you fall for it.

Confederate Statues probably need to go, however tearing down the rest of our History is absurd.

It's been 14 years since I traveled to Russia in one of my most memorable trips.
There I would get to visit "Mother Russia" and stand before one of the most controversial figures monuments in World History, and I would marvel at it.
That monument was that of Lenin which is in the famous Red Square.  I felt nothing but awe as he was, like him or not, a important historical Figure who helped Shape Russia.
His twisted Idea of Communism would lead to worse things, however removing it in My opinion would be the saddest thing for Russia as it takes away some of who they are, and were.

The Confederates withdrew from the Union after Lincoln won the Presidency and before he could take office, soley do to his stance on Slavery.

The South responded to various pieces of Civil Rights Era Legislation  over the years by erecting Statues to "keep an Eye" on Minorities and let them know they were being watched.

However that is not necessarily relevant  as History is not always good, and we should remember it, however since those statues were erected Decades after the Confederacy they were not even a part of the Confederacy during its short existence. So why the fuck do they have to stay again?

However we as a Nation cannot go forward until we end the Confederacies grips on our Politics, and that means no longer giving them any creedence or consideration, after all, they give none to anyone else.

So what about the rest? Columbus was not part of The US and Committed Genocide!
Indeed he did, by today's standards he was a terribly repugnant individual, however during those times, he was not. A magazine if it has one has to be  removed as well before you can even think about going downrange. Moreover  before anyone even thinks of it, someone asks if all is clear before you move.

Now with all that said, I grew up in the 70s and 80s watching loony toons and I of course loved it.
I also like lots of kids emulated aspects of it and thankfully, not the firearms part.
I remember jumping off of the Barn Roof only to be caught by my father and getting my ass flat out tanned. Dad was surely terrified  and rightfully so. Nobody got hurt, but I am sure the wind being knocked out of me at the time did me no favors.

The really interesting aspect of me even being allowed to watch Loony Tunes is my father would not even let me point a toy gun at another kid, of course I did  as we were children, however he would get angry if he caught me and my father was like most fathers of the time, not someone you wanted to piss off.

As an adult now with  children I get the argument against it, and I am not sure why my parents ever allowed it on in our house at all.

Every aspect of it violates everything we are supposed to do as a gun owner when we follow the rules of firearms safety.

1. Always treat the gun as loaded.
2. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
3. Always keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
4. Always keep the gun unloaded until you are ready to use it.
5. Never point the gun at anything you don't intend to destroy.
6. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
7. Learn the mechanical and handling characteristics of the gun you are using.
8. Always use proper Ammunition.
9. Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions before loading and shooting.
10. If your gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, hold your shooting position for several seconds; then with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, carefully unload the gun.
11. Don't rely on the gun's safety to keep it from firing.
12. Be aware of your surroundings when handling guns so you don't trip or lose your balance and accidentally point and/or fire the gun at anyone or anything.

that is true, it is, however kids do not yet have the cognitive resources to understand reality  from fiction, hell, many adults do not as well.
Moreover violent Video games have Parental warning and of course our Movies are rated as well.

Even certain things are not allowed on TV, so why in the fuck was a show that encouraged Murder and Suicide ever allowed?

If we think critically regarding the show we realize that  it is teaching our kids everything they should not do!

The guns are scary accurate if you think about it and of course there is no real lesson in loony toons, other than acting like assholes.

Now any teen or adult will find it funny, and that is fine, however children may laugh and not understand the dangerous ramifications of it.


Is this really an image children should see? I mean come on what is funny about it?



I struggle to come to terms with the amount of children that this show guided to a terrible solution that  should be the very last thing on anyone's mind.

Now before I get going in all this, I want to be clear, I do not use the term "African American" as I partially share Teddy Roosevelt's sentiment on "Hyphenated Americans" nevertheless my main problem with the term is it  is racist in and of itself. It fails to give people of darker skin a standing as just Americans, they are still  referred to as someone from someplace else and that is damned wrong.

So lets look over some history and people who made it big, proving this lie wrong. 


Let s look at Mr James Forten, who was a prominent Sail Maker at the ned of the revolutionary war.

Mr Douglas was born a slave and would finally work himself to freedom. Not only did he  become a man of good standing, but he was named as the Vice Presidential Candidate of the first woman to run for President in the United States,  under Ms Victoria Woodhull.
Fredrick was not overly impressed with this nomination, however  you would have to know this mans greatness to understand why.

Mr Garrett Morgan;
Garrett was the first black man in America to own an Automobile. A genius he would help invent an item every single person in the US uses almost daily, a Traffic light.
Mind you he was not the first, but he did create and improve upon a design of others, and to outdo the others, his was Electric. He would make bank selling his patent to GE for a staggering 40k in 1923!

Now we all know a bit about Barak, however most of what we know is sadly wrong, while I was no fan of his, coming from a Mother who at one time was on Welfare, to working in an Ice Cream shop to of course the most Powerful Position in the world, is an achievement that  should grant anyone admiration regardless of skin color, or of course economic standing.

Two people with the ability to annihilate millions of people's lives engaged in a Media Shouting match with only the scary Maniacal Despot leading a Communist Nation commenting that "Innocent lives would be lost" nothing, I repeat nothing that I know of was stated by the President regarding the tragic loss of lives.
It blew over and on to the next absurdity which clearly was a bit less dramatic, goddamn if I know what it would be as daily, there has been something that Trump has said that if it were a book, I would have thrown it down saying "This is not real, there is no way this could ever happen" but it did and does.
It would go on later with his staff apparently telling News Outlets  that Trump had wanted a Wall  with a Moat and all kinds of Barbaric Traps to mutilate and maim people, This would go along with another tweet to shoot Migrants. Think about that for a minute, the President of the United States, the supposed Nation of Freedom, the nation of hope, has a Leader who wants to maim people looking for a better place.

What Biden and Trumps Sexual Assault Allegations Say about Americans.

Update; since writing this blog I have learned Biden's first wife and daughter were killed in an automobile accident in 1972 and I believe that helps explain his affection. With that said most people do not know that so please read on.


 The Me Too Movement exploded in 2017 with the election of Donald Trump, however it had been around for 11 years, providing tag lines for women and a means for them to come out with their stories.
Celebrity after Celebrity came out with their own "Me Too" story.
Friends shared the #Metoo hashtag on social media, some again sharing their stories surprising many.
Even Military women came froward with their stories and society was either appalled, or indifferent.
One thing that was predominant, was no shortage of excuses while people stood next to their favorite Celebrity which often blurred the lines with Politicians as well. We saw the fall of Bill Cosby, our beloved childhood comedian fall. We saw Donald Trump, a man with a staggering Sexual Assault History parry allegations and accuse the accuser often threatening them and having them harassed.
Al Franken fell on the sword for the Democrats in what seemed to be an obvious hit by the right as his primary allegation was during a Skit with a Playboy Model. Trouble is, there were more.
Even Kamala Harris was accused by a male staffer of having been sexually assaulted. I think this one guys have a problem with, I find Kamala to have been incredibly attractive, and as a Shrek I am a bit disappointed I never was, of course like everyone, only by the person we are attracted to.
Kamala, if you are reading this, you could assault me if I was not married, but I am, Fionna finally came my way so you missed out!
Seriously though, it's not ok to touch people inappropriately and that seemed to be the basis of the movement.

We saw a Defensive Kavannahy take the stand polarizing the country in his bid to sit atop the supreme court. He had one somewhat credible accuser from decades past to Mar his incredible judicial record. He is even well known for treating his female staffers quite well, they even wrote a letter saying as much.
Yet we heard how it was wrong, and the Republicans Circled the wagons and poked hole in the story of the famed Stanford Professor.
Now he deserved to be scrutinized and his childish behavior excluded him from his position in my eyes, although the assault itself I still am on the fence with.


Now fast forward to Biden and his latest charge. He is accused of pressing himself against a woman and fingering her.
The Left has circled their Wagons and Biden even came out saying it deserves to be investigated thoroughly. Great response and he is right, it should be.
Trouble is, we have Video and Pictures of Biden on Stage as Vice President smelling womens hair and pressing himself against them like a creepy uncle.

Now I get what she was saying. As a fighter we are often told that standing in front of a crowd is where it really matters, you can be the best in the gym, and fold when it matters most.
Or simply underperform. This happens to people who trained constantly for that crowd and the spotlight, so how could someone not being trained even respond at all?
They should not have to.;
I have said  that if anyone touches my daughters like that, I will fucking drop them.
you should not have to tell someone to not press themselves against you, sniff your hair or even kiss you, get the fuck out.
Yet here we are with yet another powerful person taking advantage of his position to cop a feel.

Biden has a very checkered past, and while I will take him in a Nano Second over Trump, that still does not make it ok as it puts us back where we often are, voting for the lesser of two Evils.
It also is little different than the Trump supporters supporting him as they believe his opponents to be worse.
In short, we are polarized by Tribalism that means to defend your Man no matter what, and only women when it is convenient.
We take stands based on what "Flag" is flying and what person we want to and it is not broad across the board.
That is wrong.
Women deserve a chance at life and deserve to have a workplace which is free from harassment.
They also deserve a leader with a largely unblemished past.
Nobody is perfect and things will happen, we know that, but it depends on what happened and the frequency of those actions.,
Trump clearly is the worst of hte two saying horrible nasty shit about women and his daughter even went so far as to laugh about his sexual assault.
That does not excuse Biden who has refused to apologise to his accusers who usually fell just short of claiming sexual assault.
That is not right either.
That is the samer for Men, as I joked about Kamala I actually was denied my cooks test when I was a line cook at the flying J because I would not sleep with my supervisor, she was married.
So ya even this Shrek has his moment and it is not right. I laughed about it but moved on, even though it cost me a raise.

The point is this, there are 360 million people in America and we can find someone who is more qualified than either of these Gerital snorting Depends wearing clowns.
They both will set an example and hte tone of America and have.
It's not good and I want better for my kids, and my family.
So what the fuck is wrong with Society? Especially the women who now made excuses for Biden, those same women part of a movement that persecuted men over anything as minor as an ass Grab (now that I have done) which I personally felt was a bit excessive, but maybe I get.
There are times in society we have to pick our battles, and a swat of the hand away, telling someone no, or maybe punching them in the fucking face if it goes to far is all that is needed.
The less lawyers the better, but the less we tolerate appropriate actions, well the better we will all be in the end.
That needs to stand in the voting booth as well.

I read "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" last year, and it was a damned good book pushing the point that there is something wrong with society as it is for such a man to even be elected.
It also made the point that for our highest offices of the land the only requirement people need, is to be of a certain age.
That makes no sense, as a former Government Contractor I had to have back ground checks, I even had to at times produce my Financial records.
In fact, just to contract with the Government you need "Clearence" but Trump a man who pleaded guilty to Money Laundering in 2015, was well somehow Presidential.
It is a great book and worth your time, it also helps to expand this argument where it needs to be, on the mental health of both candidates which I do not believe is up to par in any advanced leadership capacity.

Did we get Covid Response Wrong? What are solutions to rebuilding, caring and staying safe without burning down America?

It's been a couple of Months since I told my Self Employed Step Brother he was off his rocker for saying we should not shut down and let everything burn.
"But the lives" I said, we have to care for the most vulnerable .
His reply "but Poverty Breeds Disease, Desperation and  then there is more death"
Bah, Bad Christian Reply!
 No ,I am not a Christian, but if you have ever debated me on the subject, you would have found yourself in deep Biblical waters, hell I have learned enough about the Books of Abraham to be  pain in anyone's ass, what they all share is to care for the most vulnerable, something we do not do well at all here in America.
Nevertheless that is not what this is about, this is about what is likely the Worst Pandemic since the  Spanish Flu, and as Numbers go, we are well on track to come close to those numbers.
In the first year, roughly 600k people died from the Spanish Flu , roughly half from secondary infections, which today  are now treatable.
We are at  over 60k KNOWN in a month and a half!
It also is worth mentioning that the vast majority of Americans now have access to safe clean Drinking water, all be it tasting like Chlorine, you can live quite well off of it and we do.
Keep in mind  your bottled water is almost all just filtered water, and Chlorine cannot be completely taken from th e water, so roughly 30 percent of it is still Chlorine, you just no longer taste it.

On with  our story.
So here we are a Month and a half in and here in Montucky we are reopening, was it the right move or wrong?

The  points overall  made in the Video are in my opinion nonsense, the part about comparing the 320 million in Europe to the Paltry death of 100k  is appalling to say the least and if you think about it, makes no sense. He uses the argument that "The year Numbers' assuming we have already went through a twelve month period with this disease, we have not, we are only a few months into this.
He also ignored the  Strokes and  Care associated with survivors.
His point is the flu can kill 100k in a yaer, not sure where he got that from but ok, either way that is still over a year period, and we have vaccine for the flu.
 no I am not some super educated Genius, however using his own numbers, it reeks of  unforging genocide and something that most people have been fortunate to not experience, having  to care for a Terminal Loved one and worse yet, to have them die in your arms.
Having been down that road, I get pretty fucking pissy over the "They are not worthy of living" aspect.
I dealt with lots of Medical Professionals, many of whom were considered the best in their field who were more than willing to not do their job, who lacked Empathy, Compassion and all those other things that make the world go round. During that time I used the Net to Educate myself on my Fathers Condition and made them work for me, nurses too. They almost all fucking hated me, they hated being challenged, and they hated having to give a fuck. they hated having to follow their own rules.

Now the Mr Levitt  did bring up a valid point and one that has nagged me since we started all this "how many are dying who are not being treated?
That is the question, how many have died?
Well we have no idea nor do we have an Idea of how many we have set the ball rolling on.
You see people who need Chemo are no longer able to get it, that is a huge problem.
Almost all non emergency care was denied during this time as we prepared for overwhelmed hospitals.
The next problem one my moderately brilliant Step Brother brought up Regarding Poverty is something that needs to be addressed as well.
Here in the US we have a  serious problem with homelessness already,  we do not have a system set up to care for mass unemployment, nor do we have the means, or backbone to care for the most vulnerable as we should
So here is where we are, a system that is overwhelmed and people who cannot get the help they need, so now what?
Well for some of us with more resources, we will be ok, the reset possibly not. Not only that, but in NY it has become glaringly obvious that their homeless problem is a root cause of this virus.
In NY they are stuck like Cattle riding on Public Transportation that is not as clean as it needs to be.
In that transit people  are in constant contact with  Feces, Spit and god knows what else from a uncared for Homeless population.
That population is set to explode as Government assistance either runs out, or Employers are unable to kickstart the Economy again.
Having been Self Employed during the Last Recession and seeing desperate people stopping my Semi Truck in the middle of the road, bagging for work, I know how bad that can get.
So here is where we are, as much as I hate to say it, the Republicans are right, we cannot let America burn down in the process.
Where they are wrong, is the elderly do matter, you all matter.
My father had an  auto immune disease, a simple cold (to which Covid -19 is  a form of) would have killed him.
I managed to keep him safe for that year and half until his problem crept up on him and a non working system, the result of a Medical field not caring for "Someone who has had a good life at 65" as they put it, and a Government influenced by those same people.
Anyhow, it is possible.
Wear your mask, wash  your hands, be careful where you eat as that fast food worker and even restaurant worker is not nearly as clean as you think they are.
When you suspect a Waitress or cook is sick LEAVE! Get up and walk the fuck out.
I have done this for most of my life as I hate being sick, why chance it?
I don't fucking care what they think, or if I even see them again, they are not living my life, nor I theirs.
Food has to be washed and those of you in Government taking this time to read this, you need to do a better job keeping your cities clean.
The Homeless NEED A PLACE TO GO! PERIOD!
Field Hospitals are starting to go up and  that is where those who need the care, need to go who are infected with Covid-19.
We need to  go forward America, we have to do this in a rational way and care all the way for each other.
Poverty does bring diseases, it also brings desperation and of cours crime. If this is allowed to continue, we will see deaths and complications magnified 100 times from staying closed.

One last point,  The Radical Right who is in Charge of America right now wants to burn it down to start all over again, this was their plan for years.
We not only dumped gasoline on everything,, we lit the   match for them.

I am sure that Mr Levitt is a incredible Scientist and we are fortunate to have him at Stanford, I am not impressed with the site to which he was "Interviewed" however.
